Mobility
21 and Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to Host Transportation
Meeting
Sept. 14
- West L.A. transportation projects
to be highlighted
Members of the Mobility 21 Coalition
and the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce will host a meeting
on Tuesday, Sept.
14, at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel to discuss upcoming
transportation-related legislation and coalition activities.
Santa Monica Councilwoman and Metro Board member Pam
O’Connor
will also provide an update on transportation projects
in West Los Angeles.
Mobility 21 was created in 2002 to
bring together leaders from transportation, government,
business, labor and the
community to develop solutions to transportation issues
facing Los Angeles County.
Members of the Mobility 21
coalition have traveled extensively to Sacramento and
Washington,
D.C. to advocate for more investment in transportation
for Los Angeles County.
The meeting will be held at
the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel, 1755 N. Highland Ave
from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
There is
no cost to attend. The Renaissance Hollywood Hotel
is accessible by transit: Metro Rail to Hollywood/Highland
Station, Metro Bus lines 156, 163, 210, 212,
312, 217,
