Mobility 21 meeting July 13 at the Plaza Habor Hotel in San Pedro. Topic: "Funding America's Loading Dock," securing bond funding for green growth along Southern California's international trade corridors. speakers: California Senate President pro Tem Don Perata; Los Angeles City Council Member Janice Hahn, George Cunningham of the Cunningham Report, representatives from the Port of Los Angeles and the Port of Long Beach, as well as APM/Maersk, the California Trucking Association and the Los Angeles and Orange County Building & Construction Trades Council.


December 4, 2006 (PDF) Agenda included a discussion of transportation improvements for the Eastside, an update of the Metro Gold Line Eastside Extension project and a post-election wrap-up at the Mobility 21 Coalition meeting held Dec. 4, in Monterey Park.

Special Coalition meeting was held to discuss proposed state infrastructure bonds held at the Caltrans District 7 Administration Building in downtown Los Angeles. Mobility 21 Coalition general meeting was held at Los Angeles Valley College. Mobility 21 Coalition members experienced “The Metro Orange Line: From Concept to Reality” with L.A. County Supervisor and Metro Board Member Zev Yaroslavsky and toured the Metro Orange Line on board the new articulated buses.


July 29, 2005 The Mobility 21 Coalition Meeting was held at the Ports O'Call Restaurant in San Pedro, California. California State Assemblywoman Jenny Oropeza, Chair of Assembly Transportation Committee, gave keynote address. Assemblyman Bob Huff, Vice Chair of Assembly Transportation Committee, spoke on transportation issues. Mobility 21 members toured the Harbor and the Alameda Corridor.

March 22, 2005 Mobility 21 Coalition and co-hosts Golden State Gateway Coalition, the Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce, and the Valley Industrial Association of Santa Clarita hosted general membership meeting at the Hyatt Valencia. Elected officials from the area presented updates on transportation projects in Santa Clarita and the Antelope Valley.

December 14, 2004 Mobility 21 Coalition and host Majestic Realty Co. hosted the general coalition meeting in the San Gabriel Valley. Updates by John Fasana, Metro Board Member and Council Member, City of Duarte; and a panel discussion, "Regional Trade, Goods Movement and its Economic Impact." Panel participants are Bill Carney, Executive Director, San Gabriel Valley Economic Partnership; Jack Kyser, Senior Vice-President and Chief Economist, Los Angeles Economic Development Corporation; and Rick Richmond, Executive Director, Alameda Corridor East.
